The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Central Massachusetts (CM) will award scholarships in the amount of $500 to two (2) deserving architecture students. Eligiblegible applicants must be enrolled in an accredited school pursuing studies in architecture and meet at least one of the following requirements: a Massachusetts resident attending an accredited U.S. School of Architecture; a student attending an accredited Massachusetts School of Architecture & U.S. resident; employed by a Firm based in the State of Massachusetts. High school graduates who have been accepted to an NAAB accredited program for their freshman year are also eligible. The Andrew J. Zabierek Memorial Scholarship began at Chelmsford High School in 2005. Since its creation, it has been awarded annually to two Chelmsford High School students that demonstrate significant achievement in community service and display strong character attributes.
